CHEO Teddy Bear’s Picnic – June 23 – 8 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Every teddy bear who’s been good is sure of a treat at the 29th Annual Teddy Bears’ Picnic on Saturday, June 23 at Rideau Hall, the Governor General’s Residence. The day will kick off at 8 a.m. with a Celebrity Pancake breakfast. Breakfast is $3 for adults and $2 for children. The day will feature continuous stage entertainment, rides, games, and the B*A*S*H* (Bear Ambulatory Surgical Hospital) tent. Build-A-Buddy is an activity where you make your own bear including stuffing, dressing and naming it for a fee of $15. Admission to the Picnic is FREE. CHEO and the Foundation want to say thank you to a supportive community.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no parking on site. A shuttle service is available from the NRC from 7:30 a.m. and the Aviation Museum after 9:30 a.m. Last shuttle bus from the NRC and Aviation Museum leaves at 2:15 p.m. and the last shuttle bus leaving from Rideau Hall is at 3:15 p.m.
