RCMP Foundation and Kraft Food’s Canada make a Healthy Contribution to Canada’s Youth at Risk

Kraft Foods Canada and the RCMP Foundation have teamed up to create the Breakfast Clubs of Canada Program, ensuring that youth at risk across the country are provided with a healthy start to each day.

Thanks to a $50,000 contribution from Kraft Foods Canada, the program will contribute to over 67,000 meals monthly at a total of 15 breakfast programs from coast to coast to coast, helping to feed young minds and turn vulnerable youth at risk into healthy, positive and contributing members of society.
“Research has shown that starting a child’s day with a healthy breakfast not only improves their health, but also their academic performance.” said Fred Semerjian, President and CEO of the RCMP Foundation. “Through Kraft’s generous support we will see more kids shine both in and out of the classroom.”

The current funding round for the Kraft & RCMP Foundation Breakfast Clubs of Canada is now closed. Any applications submitted after April 2, 2012 will be considered for Fall Funding.
